Las Vegas news: Fontainebleau Luxury Resort to host 2024 NHL Awards

The National Hockey League (NHL) has announced that the 2024 NHL Awards will take place at the Fontainebleau Luxury Resort in Las Vegas on June 27 (ceremony to start at 7pm ET).

Maurice Wooden, President of Fontainebleau Las Vegas, expressed his enthusiasm for the event, telling the press: “The success of the Vegas Golden Knights, our own Stanley Cup champions, has established our city as a premier destination for the NHL and sports events.

“We are thrilled to host this year’s awards ceremony at Fontainebleau Las Vegas.

“As the newest luxury resort on the Strip, following our successful NFL, UFC, and college basketball viewing parties, we are excited to bring hockey’s biggest night to Fontainebleau Las Vegas.”

NHL Chief Content Officer and Senior Executive Vice President Steve Mayer also shared his excitement, telling the press: “We are delighted to bring the NHL Awards back to Las Vegas.

“The city has been the perfect backdrop for celebrating our players’ accomplishments many times.

“This year, we are particularly excited to host the event at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas for the first time.”

The ceremony will honor various categories including the Hart Trophy, Vezina Trophy, Norris Trophy, Calder Trophy, and Ted Lindsay Award.

This will be the first time since 2019 that the NHL Awards have been held in Las Vegas – but the 11th time in total.

From Friday, May 17, fans can purchase an exclusive Fontainebleau package, which includes a special room rate and two tickets to the NHL Awards.
