Las Vegas will see a wave of new restaurants and bars opening in 2023, so be prepared to find a new favourite place to go when you’re next on the Strip.
Most of you will know that Bally’s has recently been rebranded Horseshoe and although some of the renovations are complete, there are more exciting developments inside and outside of this central Las Vegas resort.
MY Asia could be one of the best restaurant debuts of the year. The opening has been delayed a few times, but celebrity chef Martin Yan is promising a menu that covers every corner of the Asian continent and watch out for some interactive and experiential presentations too.
Meanwhile outside in the Grand Bazaar Shops, right in front of Horseshoe, country-themed bar Ole Red, is set to open. Country-singer Blake Shelton’s bar concept has already proved to be a hit in other locations and arrives in Vegas with an impressive four-story setup, outdoor patio and live music stage.
Just opposite Horseshoe, Caesars Palace are opening a pair of new steakhouses – Peter Luger and Stanton Social Prime, so if steak is your thing you’re going to be spoilt rotten. They will have a lot to live up too though with the vast amount of quality steakhouses in Las Vegas already.
The south side of the Las Vegas Strip is a little quieter, but we will see the debut of Flanker Sports Bar + Kitchen at Mandalay Bay.
Meanwhile the north end of the Strip will be a hive of activity with both MGM Sphere and Fontainebleau Las Vegas stealing the headlines.
MGM Sphere has the worst kept secret with U2 set to perform a 12-date residency and the much-anticipated Fontainebleau Las Vegas will no doubt have a host of new bars and restaurants for visitors to enjoy.
Two Mediterranean-inspired concepts by Israeli-born chefs: Eyal Shani’s HaSalon (taking over the old Majordomo space) at the Venetian and a currently unnamed restaurant by Alon Shaya at the closed Intrigue nightclub at the Wynn will also open in 2023.
Hall of Fame former pro-footballer Emmitt Smith will be debuting his ‘Emmitt’s’ restaurant in the former location of Sugar Factory in Fashion Show Mall. This will be a steakhouse and seafood restaurant with a Southern twist and Fashion Show executives are hoping it will be one of the most ‘coveted dining and nightlife destinations in Las Vegas.’
Meanwhile Downtown The Plaza is introducing a new rooftop patio for Oscar’s Steakhouse, part of an ongoing series of renovations that also includes the Carousel Bar.
