Beatles legend Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band are returning to the Las Vegas Strip to play three special shows at the Venetian.
Taking place over Memorial Day weekend, the three evening shows will be on May 24, 26 and 27 at the Venetian Theatre and tickets will go on sale from January 19.
The All Starr band consists of Steve Lukather of Toto, Colin Hay of Men at Work , Edgar Winter, Warren Ham of Olivia Newton-John’s band, Hamish Stuart of Average White Band and Gregg Bissonette of Santana.
It has been almost sixty years since Starr first performed on the Las Vegas strip, back in 1964 on the Beatles first American tour. At the time they played at the old Las Vegas Convention Center and stayed in the former Sahara Hotel.
Since then, he has performed at several Vegas venues either with the Beatles, as a soloist or with his All Starr Band.
Venues have included the old Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel, Rio Pavilion, Mandalay Bay Beach, Pearl at the Palms, Reynolds Hall at the Smith Center and the old Circus Maximus Showroom at Caesars Palace.
In 2006, the Cirque du Soleil show ‘Love’ was created based on the Beatles music and is still a must-see popular attraction for Vegas visitors to this day.
Tickets for Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band start from $69 and are available via Ticketmaster.com, VenetianLasVegas.com, any box office at The Venetian Resort.
