Universal Studios are planning a new permanent horror attraction close to the Las Vegas Strip.
The Theme Park giants are currently in a phase of expansion, and are busy developing its third major attraction at Universal Orlando Resort, Epic Universe.
However, their plans do not stop there – and Las Vegas is going to benefit.
While Vegas will not be getting a full-on theme park because, let’s face it, we all go to Vegas to get away from the type of people who frequent theme parks, a smaller attraction is planned.
Universal Studios host their Halloween Horror Nights every year at their Orlando Resort. If you haven’t been, they are big warehouse spaces which immerse you in horror movies and television shows both inside and out.
They have become one of the most popular features in Orlando and they have decided it will be perfect for Vegas.
Current plans see it being built in the Area15 district, which is just off the Strip – and there is plenty going on there.
Unlike those at Orlando Resort, though, which are just for the annual Halloween season, the one in Vegas would be permanent meaning it could be even more immersive as they space wouldn’t need to be turned around for the normal daytime stuff.
It’s probably not the best idea to get too excited about it for a while though, as stuff like this can be years in the making.
