Fans or horror movies will be able to get up close and personal with Pennywise the clown in a new escape room challenge in Las Vegas.
Escape IT: Pennywise Room Of Horror has recreated the small town and sets from Derry, Maine, which is home to the evil clown Pennywise from iconic movies.
The attraction has been produced in collaboration with Warner Bros and Discovery Global Themed Entertainment, as well as Egan Escape Productions.
It promises to be the most interactive and immersive horror-themed escape room experience in the world, covering 30,000 square feet of bespoke sets.
That area contains 20 interactive rooms, and you will be joined by live actors in most of them. Animatronics, state-of-the-art special effects and mood lighting will be commonplace in them all.
The purpose of the experience will be to locate the children who were abducted by Pennywise in the movie, which was based on a Stephen King novel.
Visitors will move through the sewers, a funeral room and even Pennywise’s own lair throughout the experience.
“Located in the heart of Sin City and spanning more than 30,000 square feet, Escape IT is a revolutionary new take on traditional escape room experiences, offering fans two multi-room escape adventures that bring to life IT Chapter 1, the highest grossing horror film of all time, and its blockbuster sequel IT Chapter 2,” the website explains.
“This unparalleled attraction will include more than 20 interactive rooms, state-of-the-art special FX, lighting, animatronics, and live actors to create a fully immersive and terrifying experience.
“There’s no turning back as guests put their skills and critical thinking to the test, navigating some of the films’ most iconic locations including the infamous Neibolt House, the Losers’ Clubhouse, the Derry Canal Days Festival, and sewers below Derry, all while trying to escape the clutches of Pennywise, the Dancing Clown.”
The attraction is located close to the Downtown area of Las Vegas, just off the I5 and will only be available to prebook due to high demand. You can book your tickets by clicking here.
