Las Vegas gambling offers so much choice but only one offers a totally smoke-free experience. So, what can you expect from the Park MGM casino?
Park MGM casino is arguably the least flashy casino on the Las Vegas Strip, well certainly of the MGM properties. But rather than suffer through inadequacy, what it means is that Park MGM actually stands out from the others as a totally unique casino.
So if you’re looking for somewhere a little less overwhelming, a little easier to navigate and somewhere you won’t end up coughing due to the smoke from your neighbours cigar then Park MGM casino might be worth a try.

Gambling at Park MGM casino
Park MGM casino has a decent amount of square-footage available. They really make the most of it too with over 1400 slot machines from which to choose.
The selection of games is extensive with all the modern favourites alongside a solid showing of classic older-school machines too.
In terms of layout, the casino is a large rectangle shape with a classy centre bar and various other bars and restaurants that surround the main room.
At one end you will find access to the hotel rooms and the walkway to Aria and the other takes you through the Eataly food court. It is, therefore, very easy to navigate and virtually impossible to lose your bearings.
And that’s not all that’s simple at Park MGM casino. While most other casinos amaze us as much with their signage, artwork and décor as they do with the slots themselves, Park MGM go for the ‘less is more’ approach.
With plain décor and a toned-down interior, the focus is more on customer experience than all the razzle-dazzle of some of the others.
That’s not to say the Park, MGM casino is dull or lifeless in any way. In fact, it feels more relaxed and social and can get particularly lively on the evenings where concerts take place at the Dolby Live theatre next door.
For those who love to frequent the tables, you can enjoy all the usual favourites – roulette, craps, blackjack and various poker variants.
There is also a high limit tables games area offering no commission baccarat. Bet on the bank and keep 100% of your winnings on selected days.
Drinks service and sportsbook
As with all Vegas casinos, if you’re gambling for any amount of time then free drinks from the waitress service comes as standard. This can vary depending on how busy the casino is and we’ve certainly experienced this from both sides.
However, there are plenty of bars dotted around the casino floor too just in case including the BetMGM Sportsbook and Bar where you can get your sports gambling fix too.
Finally, as we’ve already said, Park MGM is the first smoke-free casino resort on the Las Vegas Strip. As a non-smoker myself, it only makes me like it even more.
Rewards club
As the name suggests, Park MGM is part of the MGM rewards programme. You will get a lot of use out of that, so make sure you sign up.
Every neighbouring casino also uses MGM rewards, so those tier points can be racked up quickly.
