Regular long-haul travellers to Las Vegas may miss the old ‘Queen of the Skies’ Boeing 747, but soon they will be able to visit one when they arrive.
The seemingly ever-expanding Area15 will become the new home of a decommissioned Boeing 747, which will be repurposed to host events.
It is part of the latest plans at the site, which is adding 20 acres of land to the north.
Universal Studios have already confirmed they will be setting up a permanent horror attraction there, which has been inspired by the Halloween Horror Nights in their Orlando park. It will occupy 110,000 square feet in a stand-alone building.
There is also going to be around 85,000 square feet that will house pop-ups and ‘outdoor experiences.’
