LAS VEGAS GAMBLING: LINQ casino guide

The Las Vegas gambling scene includes so many recognisable names, with the likes of Bellagio and Caesars Palace being classics. However, can lesser known resorts still give guests a great Sin City experience? Let’s take a look at what LINQ casino has to offer.

New Las Vegas visitors may never have heard of LINQ casino or resort before they arrive. However, I’m pretty sure this won’t be the case when the leave.

As one of the best positioned resorts on the Strip, LINQ casino is right in the thick of the action. And with the LINQ promenade alongside it, full of bars, restaurants, and attractions, it offers a one-stop shop for fun.

LINQ casino is right in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. However with just over 33,000 square feet of casino floor it is one of, if not the, smallest on the Strip.

To put this into perspective, LINQ casino floor space is less than a quarter of that of it’s sister resort Caesars Palace.

LINQ Las Vegas Hotels

It is ultra modern though with a contemporary interior, stylish furnishings and simplistic layout. And this is complimented with quirky high resolution moving graphics on large digital screens throughout the casino.

LINQ casino gives off a party vibe, and often has a live DJ entertaining you while you enjoy your Las Vegas gambling.

Because of this it is popular with a younger crowd who enjoy high-energy music and atmosphere as part of their gambling experience.

The other benefit of LINQ casino being small is that it is really easy to navigate and suitable for beginners too.

Due to the close proximity to its neighbouring resorts, LINQ casino is great for a casino crawl. You can easily pop to Flamingo or Harrah’s which are positioned on either side.

It is also right beside two of the best attractions on the Strip, the High Roller and the Fly LINQ zip line. So if you want to add even more adrenalin to your Las Vegas gambling, you can do so easily.

Gambling in the LINQ casino

Due to its smaller casino floor, LINQ casino has fewer machines than other Strip resorts.

However, it still has over 800 slots, so there really isn’t an issue ever finding something you want to play. The slots tend to be in a circular layout meaning it feels deceptively spacious too.

Despite its smaller size, LINQ casino offers all the usual range of table games including Blackjack, Roulette and Craps. There are also four variations of Poker available too.

With 55 table games in total, it doesn’t offer the huge selection and choice that you may find elsewhere, but it is more than sufficient.

Sportsbook and drinks service

As with all Las Vegas gambling, a complimentary drinks service is available to anyone who is gambling. I’ve always found this casino to be be fairly good with a regular waitress service. Obviously, though, this can fluctuate depending on how busy it is.

If sports is where you prefer to get your Las Vegas gambling fix, then LINQ casino has a nice modern Sportsbook.

With over 30 TVs to watch your favourite sports team this also includes a VIP lounge with comfortable couch seating. And for those who don’t like to wait for waitress service, the LINQ casino sportsbook also has a self-serve beer tap wall.

Rewards club

The casino is part of Caesars Rewards, which is one of the very best in Las Vegas.

The property is also surrounded by other Caesars casinos, so it’s a great place to gamble if tier progression is your goal.
