Adele is coming to an end of her blockbuster Las Vegas residency, but it has been reported that fans will get another chance to see her later in the year.
The Sun reports that Adele has already entered negotiations with Ceasars Palace about another run due to the success of the shows, which has generated a lot of money going through the casino, which is of course why resorts put on these shows.
If the new run is agreed, Caesars hope to schedule it around the same time as the Formula One Grand Prix, which would make it around April.
“Adele is being asked to return for extra dates at the end of the year,” a source is quoted as saying in the report.
“Bosses at the venue want to tie them into the Grand Prix because her shows have been a massive success for Caesars.
“She has played to full houses every night and generated a lot of publicity and cash for the casino. There is a degree of uncertainty about this deal, but hopefully the contracts can get signed off.
“Money is always an issue and a return would mean her earning more.
“It is no secret she has been dealing with back dramas and a knee issue, which she has spoken about on stage. She wants a rest for sure and also hopes to have a baby.”
Despite appearing very ready for a rest, Adele appears to have caught the Las Vegas bug herself.
Her run at Caesars Palace got off to a shaky start with delays and unfathomably large ticket prices on the controversial resale market, but the singer herself claims she has emerged from the residency with a reinvigorated love of performing.
“This experience of being in a room this size, I think I might be a live artist for the rest of my life.
“I am the happiest I have ever, ever, ever been.
“Doing two shows a week in a much smaller room and seeing people receive my music is honestly just what I am going to do from now on rather than big rooms that make me feel terrified.”
